Omscholen met Filemon

The Netherlands has 140 professions for which there is a chronic shortage of staff. Prejudices and an unattractive image prevent many people from choosing this line of work, resulting in a gap between supply and demand. All companies search for talent in the same small pond as their competitors. How can we make that pond bigger, together?

To achieve this, we created the YouTube series "Omscholen met Filemon". The series sheds a completely new light on hard-to-recruit professions. We wrap serious information in humor, making the series binge-worthy and shareable.

In each episode, Filemon Wesselink is reskilled to a new profession with 15 top employers. Each employer comes up with a challenge to test whether he has what it takes to do this job.
